Dimensional X Studios is a creative studio based in Cluj-Napoca, Romania, specialized in mixing media and technology to deliver CGI and VFX productions for brands.
We have been a media production company since 2018. However, since 2024, we decided to take a leap and focus on advanced production services, broadening our skills towards more complex and technical projects.

Young with a lot of energy and passion, we are ready to create awesome stories.
At the young age of 11, Erich Lukas began his journey into image editing and manipulation, exploring Photoshop. In parallel, he shot skits with his friends, which were edited then posted on his personal blog.
Early stages
During this period, Erich continued learning video editing, motion graphics, basic special effects, and design. Everything was being posted to Youtube. He also developed a passion for technology and programming. The concept and name “DX Studios” began to take shape as Erich’s personal brand, which gradually evolved online into “Dimensional X Studios” with the launch of a website, Facebook page, and Instagram account.
2015-2018

First step towards business
Asked to take some photos by a friend who later canceled, Erich decided to use his dad’s DSLR and held a photoshoot with another girl friend, who also happened to be pretty popular in town. This lucky break led to other photoshoots with people he knew. At that time, Erich didn’t know anything about photography at all. This was only the beginning.
Exponential growth
At the beginning of high school, Erich built on his initial photoshoots by shooting content at various local events in Targu-Mures. He also began collaborating with multiple NGOs and school organizations, gaining substantial experience in media production and business. Meanwhile, he also started to master his skills in graphic design.
2018 – 2019
2019 – 2021
Slowly evolving into a studio
Things started to move even faster. Erich began taking on increasingly larger and more diverse projects, all while dedicating significant time to learning. Being multidisciplinary allowed him to have multiple income sources, which he reinvested entirely into equipment. Starting with only his dad’s entry-level DSLR and without any funding from his parents, he bought everything using money he earned. This self-sufficiency led to even more growth and professionalism.
Full-service multidisciplinary agency
Moving to college in Cluj-Napoca with a wealth of experience, Erich expanded his network further and competed with many professionals in the industry, delivering high-quality production services. During this period, he invested heavily in professional equipment.
However, towards the end of 2023, he started to lose interest and feel limited in his current work. This prompted him to stop pursuing projects that didn’t bring satisfaction. His passion for technology and his background in tech from high school and college inspired him to take on more advanced challenges. Consequently, he decided to dive into the world of AI, specifically Stable Warp Diffusion, achieving significant success and starting to work with big brands. By the end of the year, he also ventured into 3D/CGI, a long-time interest that he had previously been unable to fully explore due to his busy work schedule.
2021 – 2023
2024
Now – A CGI and Special Effects production agency
After leaving everything behind to pursue new technologies and CGI, Erich dedicated all his time to learning from the internet, spending entire days researching and practicing. He was constantly thinking about solutions for his experiments, whether walking, sleeping, or dreaming. His first fake out-of-home creations went extremely viral, with one reaching 1.1 million views on TikTok and others gathering a few hundred thousand views. This completely changed everything for him. Erich was contacted by dozens of companies and PR agencies, and began working with major brands, gaining a tremendous amount of experience while competing with other CGI artists from around the globe.
Now, he does this full-time and plans to expand his work, combining CGI with VFX and other technologies to create truly innovative content. Stay tuned.
